Ok everyone, I know it's been awhile since I've written but things have been a little crazy around here. Clay lost his job a few weeks ago so I was checking out my options when I finally found what I want to do to help around here. I am doing a house daycare! So far I only have one little girl and she actually hasn't come over yet, she should be here in the morning though! It will be nice to have other kids around for Zoey to play with and give me more excuses to go to all the fun kid stuff around town!
Well, Zoey has grown SOOO much, I can't believe she's 3 months old today. I feel so blessed to have such a good baby! I had to start her on formula this last week or so because at first I thought I'd have to get a job out of the house, and she has been such a good sport, she hasn't complained at all! (Her diapers are MUCH stinkier though.) She loves snuggling up everyday and reading books with mommy and daddy and goes to bed so well.
Well, here are a few pictures of my growing darling girl...
Today we went to the Library down the street and watched the Clowns from the Circus. They were promoting the Summer Reading program. It was amazing to see how much Zoey enjoyed the performance. She laughed and cooed and watched the entire thing. She would even throw her arms around when she thought something was funny. I'm thinking of taking her to the Circus since she enjoyed this so much! After we went to the other library and participated in Baby story time, it was so much fun we plan on going back every week.
Zoey has found her favorite toy. A friend from Houston gave us these penguins that you can bowl with for my shower. Each one is slightly different with different textures and sounds. Well Zoey LOVES this one, here she is going to town chewing on his foot. She also loved chewing on their beaks/noses. Maybe one day she'll actually bowl with the penguins instead of just slobbering on them.
Today after Zoey woke up from her afternoon nap mommy need just a few minutes to finish up something she was working on. Zoey has always liked watching moving things and mommy wanted an excuse to watch one of the Liken movies (daddy would have though mommy was weird if she just wanted to watch it herself, I love having baby's for excuses to do fun things). Anyways, so I put Zoey in her little chair and turned on the movie. She loved it! She lasted about 30 minutes till she was done watching by herself. Mommy did have a little panic attack though when she put Zoey in her chair, I can't believe how much she's grown, look, her little feet are long enough to hang off the ends! She wasn't that long before!
